In the spring of 2004 I lucked out on an opportunity to do a mountain bike expedition across Mt. Kenya in Africa with Hans Rey and Richey Schley. With 16 porters, guides and help from the Mt. Kenya park service, we had a grueling 8 day traverse across one of the wildest mountain landscapes I have ever photographed. We had sun, rain, and believe it or not snow, on almost every day of the trip with a rugged and constantly changing landscape. A place I would most definitely like to return in the future.
