Both these guys are hard working professionals with tons of talent so I could not turn them down. A week of skiing, shooting and editing produced this super cool video that won the Peoples choice award.

Last year was one of the best trips ever so a return of duty was necessary. We were only there for a one week window and walked away with a day we called “big thursday” so we decided to come back with a bigger crew for 20 days. Hugo Harrison, Eric Hjorleifson, James Heim, Anthony Boranowski, Murray Wais, Dan Cambell, and Guillaume Tessier, guide kirk becker, and including our pilot from last year Jake Martin charged in for some more Bralorne Magic. All the stars seemed to align for sunshine but bad snow, wind, and our heli breaking down took the wind out of our sails. At one time we had three helis parked in front of the lodge. The broken one, the replacement, and one to fix the broken one. Our frustrations aside we still had an awesome time hanging and exploring in this tough to beat spot. We will be back.

Lots of laughs and patience from the crew as doing fashion shoots is not really their thing. Thanks to Greg Strokes and Marcel from Oakley for making this happen.

]]> http://www.blakejorgenson.com/winter-08/oakley-lifestyle-shoot-vancouver-feb-08/feed/ 0 Oakley Catalogue Shoot at Retallack Jan 08 http://www.blakejorgenson.com/winter-08/oakley-catalogue-shoot-at-retallack-jan-08/ http://www.blakejorgenson.com/winter-08/oakley-catalogue-shoot-at-retallack-jan-08/#comments Thu, 03 Jan 2008 21:30:25 +0000 blakejorgenson http://www.blakejorgenson.com/?p=973 The new year started with the first few weeks at Retallack split into two different crews.  The younger crew consisted of Tanner Hall, Sean and Callum Pettit, and Sammy Carlson.  Along with CP and other photographer Chris O’Connell filming for Tanner’s new film “The Massive”.  The second week brought in Seth Morrision, Dan Treadway, Eric Pehota, Shane McConkey, and Kye Petersen.  Non stop storm and snow fall almost the entire time made Retallack deliver what it is known for, deep days and lots of fun.  It is always hard to keep people still for photos on trips like this.  Thanks to Phil and the gang at Retallack.
